DescriptionStories are a great way to learn morals, lessons, and history. We will be exploring mythology, fables, and fairy tales with new theme every week. We will discuss and cover the meaning and lessons that the stories were originally meant to teach. We will also provide coloring pages and fun activities to play during or after the stories.

Intro to Improv Comedy

DescriptionWe will be studying the fundamentals of improv to learn how to create scenes and play games in the comedy realm. Improv is a great way to gain confidence, public speaking skills, and quick thinking. As a teacher I have been on multiple teams at different companies. Currently, I am the Technician producer for Jet City's Drama Room and perform Duos at Unexpected Productions. Both here in Seattle

Dungeons and Dragons

DescriptionDungeons and Dragons is a game that encourages creativity, storytelling, and collaboration. We will work in small groups with adult volunteers/staff to create a player-driven experience for the students. We will start by taking time to get to know the students and what they are looking for in the game. They will get to pick characters and be put into groups to explore different play styles and features of the game. Students will be provided a set of dice.
