Circus Movement

DescriptionWe combine circus arts with play therapy to facilitate movement classes that are fun for everyone. Students gain core strength, balance, flexibility, gripping strength, social skills, self regulation skills, and confidence using a variety of circus skills, including juggling, balancing, stilts, hoops, trampoline, tightrope, yoga, clowning around (theater). This class is non stop fun. All abilities and skills welcome. We will find your unique magic and bring it to the big top.

DescriptionIn our cooking classes we focus on culinary basics for first couple of sessions. Learning to read and create recipes as a foundation. We practice cutting fruits, vegetables and cheeses to create platters and salads. We build up to boiling water for pasta (can be gluten free). During this time (about 2 sessions) we learn about stove/fire safety. Learning about kitchen equipment and use of tools. We use a camp style electric stove. We create no bake desserts for 2 weeks. Expand food horizons and learn life long skills. Classes can be made vegetarian, dairy, and/or gluten free. This is also a place where children with physical/mental disabilities shine.

Beading/Jewlery LEVEL 2

DescriptionBeading/Jewelry Level 2-TYING/FINE MOTOR SKILLS NEEDED This fun club will allow space for students to design and make various beaded jewelry and pieces of art. Using pre-made beads as well as beads they make from various materials (i.e. paper, clay, shells). Projects will be more advanced than Level 1 and students must be able to tie, measure, and cut independently. Students will have an opportunity to socialize, be encouraged to be creative, learn from their peers, and have fun making their own great creations. All supplies are provided. Students will take home 8-16 items in professional packaging. $225 10 week session, Minimum 6, Max 20
