Girls Baskeball Clinic

DescriptionWelcome to the RMS Girls Basketball Clinic! We are excited to offer this 5-week program packed with games, drills, and engaging activities. Your child will gain an understanding of the history of basketball, learn essential fundamentals, and develop strategic knowledge of the game. Coach Wood, a former college athlete with experience teaching basketball at a high level, will be leading the sessions. We look forward to building and strengthening our girls’ basketball program together.

Boys Basketball Clinic

DescriptionThis basketball clinic aims to build on the school’s winter basketball season success. We will emphasize skill enhancement, but mostly we will just play completive games/drills and enjoy a wrap up to a great year of basketball as we wrap up the year. Coach Patel will be leading this clinic and using skills and coaching techniques, and completive scrimmages to support the participants as they get ready for the offseason.

Art with Margarita

DescriptionJoin our fun and creative art class ! Each session, young artists will explore the exciting world of three-dimensional art, using a variety of materials, paints, and mediums to bring their imaginations to life. From sculptures to textured masterpieces, this hands-on class encourages creativity, problem-solving, and artistic expression in a supportive and fun environment.

Toddler Summer Camp 2025

DescriptionCome and join our 8-week Toddler Camp! The camp will be led by a Montessori toddler-trained teacher with two toddler assistants. The camps will vary by week and will include such offerings as Under the Sea, Little Artists, Music, and Water Play to name a few. The day will include activities along with lunch and a nap.

Sports & Fitness

DescriptionReturn to natural fun with this after school tree climbing class. Each class there will be a different high ropes activity, including climbing into the tree’s canopy and walking out on a limb (literally!). Some days, there will be opportunities to climb multiple times, but participants will always get to climb at least once. Kids will play field games and take part in other outdoor activities with an instructor while waiting for their turn to climb. We are always harnessed in while climbing, so we get all the fun without the worry!

DescriptionCheckmate your way to success with Chess Club, hosted by Henrico Chess Academy! This after-school program is perfect for 4th-8th grade students who want to learn the game of chess from a professional instructor. Whether your child is a beginner or already knows the basics, they’ll improve their strategic thinking, problem-solving skills, and concentration through fun lessons and friendly competition. Students will have the chance to compete in tournaments, both within the club and against other schools. Join us for a challenging and rewarding experience that makes learning chess both exciting and fun!
