Music Fundamentals with Piano

DescriptionLando Music is dedicated to making practice enjoyable for every child! We understand that every child wants to play music they love. In our first class, we have students reading sheet music and playing the piano right from the start. Our gamified education structure allows students to progress at their own pace, providing specifically tailored practice exercises in areas where they need extra support. By the end of the course, students will have a solid foundation to continue exploring their passion for music.

DescriptionDeveloped with curriculum from Rhode Island School of Design, students learn the key techniques needed to model and unlock their creativity! Our classes follow a classroom critique format developed at Stanford, that keeps kids of all ages and gender engaged and motivated. Learn concepts such as color theory, structural supports, and the different ways to abstract complex builds into simple objects through hundreds of example builds that students can choose from. Our goal is to foster kids to learn how to design and build their own creations!

Engineering & Design Thinking: A Space Odyssey

Instead of step-by-step instructions, we encourage students to test their own ideas using building tools like LEGOs, 3D pens, and more. This fall we join Kiki the Alien on a Space Odyssey in all brand-new classes—these include domes that can withstand massive asteroids, air filters that remove space debris, and much more! No experience necessary - all experience levels welcome.
