Description
Join the Origami Mami and unfold the secrets of paper-folding! Origami is a fun and unique art form popularized in Japan. Origami engages a multitude of the physical senses including visual, tactile and auditory. It even serves as a conduit for learning basic math and geometry concepts! In class, the students will learn how to fold beginner to low intermediate level Origami models such as animals, plants/flowers, landscapes, geometric shapes and much, much more!
What to bring
No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
Photo release policy: Photographs of the students are taken occasionally for marketing purposes and may be posted on my professional social media site, Instagram. If you do not want your child photographed or posted on Instagram, please email me at: info@origamimami.biz You can view my Instagram account at: JenniferLindermanArt Refund policy: Full refunds are offered either during enrollment period or before second class begins. NO refunds are offered after the second class. If a student enrolls after the start date, price of class will be pro-rated according to remaining classes. Cancellation policy: In case of cancellation by the school or teacher, make-up class/es will be offered. If proposed make-up dates are not possible for the student to attend, a full refund for remaining classes will be granted, minus credit card fees. Join the Origami Mami and unfold the secrets of paper-folding! Origami is a fun and unique art form popularized in Japan. Origami engages a multitude of the physical senses including visual, tactile and auditory. It even serves as a conduit for learning basic math and geometry concepts! In class, the students will learn how to fold beginner to low intermediate level Origami models such as animals, plants/flowers, landscapes, geometric shapes and much, much more! The finished Origami models are then integrated into a 3-D display piece where the children have the opportunity to learn a little about design elements and general paper crafting techniques!
