Description
July 22-26 | Grades 5-8 | Morning Session (9 am - Noon)
Campers will build homes and fortresses, and battle with each other both individually and in teams. Battles will include Bed Wars, Capture the Flag, and more. Campers will also have the opportunity to use Minecraft Mods to enhance their play.
Technical requirement: This camp requires attendees to have a Microsoft account, a Minecraft license, and multiplayer mode enabled. Parents will need to share login credentials for their child’s account including the password while enrolling. This camp is a multiplayer enrichment camp that will take place indoors in the Oak Hill School Tech Barn.
About the Instructor:
Tim Rogers has been working with technology since before he dropped out of the Ph.D. program in Philosophy in the 1980s, reviewing software for the Atari ST while avoiding reading anything more by Ludwig Wittgenstein. He loves almost anything to do with computers - building, programming, networking, teaching, troubleshooting - but dislikes computer games, with the possible exception of Tetris. He is a fan of coffee, gardening, poker, and bicycling - in no particular order. His wife is a much better poker player than he is.
