Description
We will continue to explore color and use various materials-watercolor, acrylic and watercolor paints, drawing pencils, oil pastels, and markers. We will definitely collage this time and try out art paper. We'll look at work from different artists, locations, and time periods. This time we will be keeping a sketchbook. A few of the artists I'm currently thinking about are Georgia O'Keefe, Rachel Ruysch, the quilters from Gee's Bend, Henri Matisse, Tadashi Murakami, and Heinz Edelmann.
If you have any questions about materials, projects, etc., please contact me. If your child has anything in particular s/he might want to learn, let me know. And if your child want to join but has a sport kicking in at some point that conflicts, let me know and maybe the LLC can help us figure out an abbreviated schedule for your child.
