Description
Reasoning, mathematics, memory, and organization are just some of the many skills sharpened by chess. Macfarlane Park Elementary Chess Club members will learn official play rules, tournament play rules, game strategy, tactics, and how to have fun with the game. Chess is an international game for all ages; played regardless of shared language.

• Compete and represent Macfarlane Park Elementary in local/state tournaments
• Learn a skill set that you can improve upon and appreciate for the rest of your life
