Description
In this engaging and hands-on class, children will embark on a journey of creativity and imagination through the art of beading and lanyard making. Students will discover various techniques, including stringing, weaving, and pattern making, as they bring their marvelous designs to life. Watch your child's confidence soar as they transform simple beads into dazzling works of art! Material fees include all sorts of colorful and fun beads along with the lanyard to hold them all together. - Threading beads requires precise hand-eye coordination and manipulation of small objects, which help develop and refine children's fine motor skills. - Beading requires attention to detail and sustained focus, which will help children work on their concentration skills and their ability to engage in a task for prolonged periods of time. - Children will work on their understanding of spatial awareness, symmetry, and proportion as they arrange their beads in specific patterns and sequences. - Manipulating the lanyard material and weaving intricate patterns will promote fine motor skills, enhancing their dexterity and hand-eye coordination. - As children encounter challenges or try new techniques, they develop problem-solving skills by finding solutions and adjusting their approach to reach their desired outcome. - Lanyard crafting requires patience and perseverance as children learn to follow step-by-step instructions, practice techniques, and see their projects through to completion.
