Description
PALS Chess Academy is very excited to return to Edison Elementary Chess Club, Colorado’s premier scholastic chess programs for children! Following a creative curriculum, each class brings humor, stories, and challenging "chessercizes" to help children apply lessons both on and off the board. Our step-by-step approach is backed by proven results, with PALS students/teams winning the elementary school division of the Colorado state chess championship every year since 2014.
PALS coaches excel in making chess fun while teaching valuable critical thinking and life skills throughout each session. Students will learn to calculate options and evaluate their consequences, reinforcing planning skills, growing from mistakes, overcoming obstacles, and practicing visualization techniques to think a few steps ahead. Optional monthly scholastic tournaments are held on Saturdays. Whether playing in competitions or just for fun, your child will LOVE learning with PALS!
