DescriptionVEX IQ is part of an international robotics competition that provides elementary and middle school students with hands-on opportunities to explore STEM through the design, construction, and programming of robots. This competition includes over 11,500 teams from more than 45 countries, with around 100 teams competing in Arkansas. The VEX IQ Robotics Club focuses on developing essential skills in robotics design, construction, and programming. RoboCats engage in collaborative problem-solving while honing their teamwork, leadership, and creativity. Participation in VEX IQ can lead to more than $20 million in scholarships available annually through the Robotics Education & Competition (REC) Foundation, thanks to partnerships with over 100 universities, colleges, and organizations. The skills earned from these competitions—critical thinking, engineering, and programming—are highly sought after in various industries, from technology and engineering to healthcare. VEX IQ robotics provides a strong foundation for future educational and career opportunities.
