Description
3...2...1...LAUNCH! In this session, students will explore the incredible world of model rocketry. The thrill of designing and constructing a flyable model rocket from scratch, one capable of climbing to over 300ft is not to be missed! In this specialized camp, students will learn how to design and build not only a safe and stable model, but the electronic launch system and pad as well. Emphasis will be placed on sound craftsmanship and building skills, and of course successful launch and recovery practices. The week will culminate with a trip to nearby Rockford Park to put their designs to the ultimate test.
