Description
Get ready to become a real horse expert! Ever wonder how to take care of a horse's sore hoof, or what's inside a vet's medical kit? This week, campers will learn all the cool secrets of horse care - from watching a real horse get horse trims and shoes, to learning preventative first aid methods. The fun doesn't stop there - they'll get to design and ride through their own obstacle course (like a mini horse playground!), explore exciting trail paths through the woods, and learn awesome new riding skills. Plus, campers will become best friends with our horses through special ground exercises and fun riding games. Whether your child is just starting out or has been riding for years, this week is packed with amazing horse adventures that will take their skills to the next level!
What to bring
No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
To provide the best possible experience, deposits are used to plan and secure staff for our school and camp seasons. For this reason, all deposits are non-refundable.
Additional Policies:
Homeschool Program: We work hard to meet the needs of each age group, and spend much time intentionally staffing so that each child is well-supported when they are here. For this reason, the days you register for are not transferrable.
Camp: If you do need to cancel due to illness, we are happy to apply your balance to a future program, available camp week, after school club, or school vacation week program.

A Pre-K Through 8 Farm & Forest School, Summer Camp, and Homeschool Program
Wildwood Acres Farm & Forest School is an independent school and summer camp that provides a unique educational experience for children from Pre-K through Grade 8, as well as summer camps and a supplemental homeschool program available Tuesday through Thursday. By immersing students in nature, Wildwood makes academics fun, fosters a deep connection with the environment, and promotes social development and personal growth.
