DescriptionIn this Open World afterschool program, students will make their own role-playing games. From start to finish, students will learn about the lifecycle of game development and develop their own games using the RPG Maker platform. They'll explore fun and challenging techniques and practical skills, such as using a process, testing their game and making changes, and tracking their progress over time. This workshop combines art, music, design, and programming into one fun and social experience for young game enthusiasts.
New and returning Open World students are welcome in this program. New students will build a solid foundation in game development and returning students will be challenged with more advanced activities.
