Description
Join us for this dynamic after school art club that encourages your child’s creativity and fosters friendships with their peers. Sweet Ridge Studios teaches your child the foundations of art; color, line, shape, and form using engaging mixed media art projects. Our programming is material rich and focuses on play and experimentation in the creative process. Your child will engage in art projects that ignite their imagination like drawing, painting, and sculpting, hone their art skills and be present in a nurturing space that encourages their social emotional development. When they make art, students learn to integrate their mind and body and acquire creativity as a tool for problem solving and innovative thinking that is applicable throughout their lifetimes.

Art Makes Life Sweet! Join us for Creativity and Joy!!
LET'S TALK ART! Does your child LOVE to create? So do we! Have them join us to create to their heart’s content. All our programming involves great materials like clay, watercolor paint, papier mache, oil pastels and found objects! We teach skills and vocabulary that support the whole development of your resident artist. Melinda Valentini is the founder and CEO of Sweet Ridge Studios. She is a professional artist and has taught art to students of all ages for 20 years. In our teaching our wonderful team places a large emphasis on experimentation and play in the creative process. When curiosity is positively rewarded lifelong learners are born!
