Description
Whether your child has joined us this school year or is just starting this session, we will get them ready to breakthru! Students will be introduced to traditional techniques of Shaolin Kempo and how it applies to life skills, stranger danger and actual age-appropriate self defense! Sure, many martial arts programs teach cool forms, but does your child know what to do if a stranger approaches? What if they are grabbed? Do they remember your phone number? What if someone enters your home? This program is invaluable to every student, whether already enrolled in an outside program or not!
The best part? As we develop their strength, knowledge and confidence, students will end the session with an epic board breaking session to solidify their improved self-esteem!
There will be 2 to 3 Instructors based upon enrollment so students will be divided up into age groups and taught separately with age-appropriate techniques!

Cancellation policy
USSD 4s Ranch creates pre planned personalized classes with weekly lesson plans constructed in advance, cancellations for a full refund will only be allowed up until the first day of each program.

USSD 4s Ranch; Beyond the Mat
When people think about the martial arts, their mind usually goes to the famous 'Karate Kid' scene; thinking about the myriad of cool forms and weapons they will perform in a fun, extracurricular activity with the belief that self-discipline, focus and respect will be automatically improve through learning such. However, USSD understands developing invaluable life skills and self-regulation goes 'beyond the mat'; creating innovative programs that assist in sharpening students critical thinking, observation, collaboration, communication and problem solving abilites in addition to personalized lessons in the martial arts.
That is why USSD 4s Ranch is not considered an extracurricular activity but a school, recognized by Poway Unified, the Regional Center, PCA, and even Rady Childrens' Hospital to name a few. Our educated instructors are not simply black belts in the martial arts, but black belts in life!
