Description
Kids’ Carpentry's Cardboard Engineering is a hands on toy building experience designed to teach kids ages 7 and up, practical building skills with an emphasis on the safe use of accessible hand tools. While kids construct fun and exciting projects they are also empowered to become independent thinkers–building confidence, self-esteem, and a repertoire of practical skills that will last them a lifetime! In this class kids will learn basic cardboard manipulation, utilizing the MakeDo Cardboard Engineering System, to create feats of engineering. Each week an instructor will walk kids through a new and exciting project from a collection of toys, games, costumes, or decorations and then give them time to free build, using their new skills to invent projects of their own.

No supplies needed. All supplies will be provided for this activity.
Cancellation policy
Cancellations must be made 1 week before the first class starts in order to receive a refund. If we can fill your space before the first day of class you may be issued a partial refund. Refunds will not be issued after the first class has started.
All cancellations are subject to a credit card processing fee of up to $20.
Please note:
While every Kids Carpentry teacher makes a good faith effort to provide the necessary instruction for each participant to build and take home one or more hand-made toy, we can not guarantee the success of every participant measured in learning outcomes or the project completion.
Kids Carpentry reserves the right to have disruptive or unsafe participants removed from one or all classes in a series. Teachers will make good faith efforts to resolve issues with parents or guardians before considering permanent removal of a participant. In the event that a participant is removed for safety concerns, no refund will be offered.
