DescriptionWith IAA at Hatch students get the opportunity to learns a multitude of skills while working together towards the performance of "Finding Nemo, Jr.". Each student registered receives a part in the show, no experience required, though it is important to understand that this is not a drop in kind of class. There is a continuation of learning from week to week, so regular attendance and enthusiastic and dedicated participation is required. We have the kids once a week for 3 hours, so though the class is long the amount of time per week is short. The kids will have required work to do on the show at home. Please be sure your child is up for the challenge and really wants to do the work required to perform in a musical theatre production and even more importantly be ready to be challenged, to learn, and to grow each rehearsal. Providing life changing education is the art is our mission and the show is vehicle to provide the learning opportunities and teachable moments that help your child develop vital life skills while having a blast preparing for the show. Students will have rotations in Dance, Drama, and Music in preparation for their production, as well as play theatre games, and learn foundational skills for performing on stage. Each student will get to perform in a fully produced production with costumes, sets, props, etc! The kids will work hard and get to feel so proud when they see all their hard work pay off on show day. We have had the privilege of teaching generations of Hatch students and we are so excited to be back with our Hatchlings for another session!
