DescriptionYay! So glad you're interested in enrolling your kid in social emotional learning classes with Gummy Loves LLC. Does your kid hate losing? Can they be sore losers? Do they gloat when they win? Well learning about good sportsmanship at your child's age has excellent benefits for the following:
Develops Teamwork
Kids with good sportsmanship encourages collaboration and understanding the importance of working together towards a common goal.
Improves Resilience
Kids with good sportsmanship learn to handle setbacks and bounce back from challenges, building mental toughness.
Promotes Respect for Others
Kids with good sportsmanship appreciate their teammates, opponents, and officials, regardless of the outcome of the game.
Develops Self-Control
Kids with good sportsmanship encourages them to manage their emotions and reactions, especially during competitive situations.
Gracious Winning and Losing
Kids with good sportsmanship learn to win without gloating and lose without making excuses which builds maturity and ethical behavior.
With all those benefits mentioned, here is a snippet of the class schedule. In week 2, we'll learn about keeping a positive attitude. In week 4, we will do an activity to learn about good sportsmanship actions including accepting the outcomes and taking responsibility. In week 8, we will play a game focused on teamwork. My hope is that your child will learn more about themselves, strengthen their emotional intelligence and most importantly, if enrolled, enjoy this class.
Sincerely,
Ms. Krystal
