Ready to play Minecraft in a fun and safe environment? 2nd-8th graders are invited to join forces in Minecraft Club! Mr. Tim will provide some ideas, projects, and challenges in a safe and shared Minecraft server. This class is community-focused and a chance for students to learn from each other, share the joy of playing, and have fun. If students learn some new computer, programming, and engineering skills along the way, well, that is just a bonus! (Please note: This enrichment is not a creative mode class.) Let's dig in and build something awesome together!
⚠️ Important ⚠️ Students MUST HAVE a Minecraft Java Edition account and a working Microsoft username and password. These credentials are required at registration in order to play on our shared server.

About the Instructor: Tim Rogers is the Director of Technology at Oak Hill School. He has been working with technology since before he dropped out of the Ph.D. program in Philosophy in the 1980s, reviewing software for the Atari ST while avoiding reading anything more by Ludwig Wittgenstein. He loves almost anything to do with computers - building, programming, networking, teaching, troubleshooting - and he is also a fan of coffee, gardening, poker, and bicycling, in no particular order.
