Hi, I’m Jen, I am a Mom of two middle-schoolers, a parent-volunteer and I work here at Homeroom. When I am not at the school or in my home office (or in my car driving my kids around) you will find me walking my dog on the beach or skiing my favorite mountain in Lake Tahoe. I am really excited about what we are doing here at Homeroom. I have long believed in the power of helping kids find ‘their thing’. I know in my life and through my own kids I have seen firsthand how mastery builds confidence and how it develops a sense of identity and belonging. I hope every kid gets the opportunity to explore a variety of activities that not only supplement their education but also help them discover their passions. That’s why I am so inspired by the people creating an afterschool experience that covers the basics so many families need along with the extra programs that really make a difference. It’s nothing short of amazing, and I am proud to support the people who make it happen.
